Chicago, IL – June 27, 2011 – High School Football Founder Jeff Fisher announced today that he’ll be hosting a weekly internet radio show on the ArtistFirst World Radio Network beginning Thursday, July 21, 2011 The show, which is called High School Football America, will air every Thursday starting at 7 P.M. EST.
“This is a very important step in the growth of High School Football America,” said Fisher, who also serves as High School Football America’s Editor-in-Chief. “There is a need for a weekly high school football-only show that looks inside the sport from a national perspective.”
In addition to running High School Football America, Fisher, whose broadcast journalism career began in radio at the age of 14-years old at WEST-AM in Easton, Pennsylvania, is the host of the very successful National High School Coaches Association radio show called the NHSCA Sports Hour, which is America’s premiere high school sports interview show that covers all sports.
“The NHSCA Sports Hour is an excellent example of America’s thirst for high school sports information,” said Fisher. “Since taking over as the producer of the show, we’ve been able to increase listenership by over 25%. We have tens of thousands of listeners that turn to us for the stories-behind-the-stories that make high school sports great.”

Chicago, IL – January 5, 2011 – Jeff Fisher, host of the NHSCA Sports Hour and founder of High School Football America, is pleased to announce that Atlanta Falcons’ Pro Bowl Fullback Ovie Mughelli will be one of three featured guest on his first show of the year on January 9, 2011. The NHSCA Sports Hour airs LIVE every Sunday night at 6 PM. EST on the ArtistFirst Radio Network.
Mughelli, who is an 8-year NFL veteran, played at the Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, South Carolina. He will join Fisher and his co-host Trish Hoffman to talk about giving back as an NFL player and his role as football’s first “Eco Athlete”.
In addition to talking with Mughelli, Fisher and Hoffman will begin their preview of the 2011 National High School Coaches Association Final Four of high school wrestling.
Lake Stevens (Washington) High School head wrestling coach Brent Barnes will talk about his team’s trip across America to compete in the January 22, 2011 national championship in Easton, Pennsylvania. Barnes, who has been the Vikings leader for over 20 years, has led Lake Stevens to five state championships this decade.
In addition to Barnes, Fisher and Hoffman will be joined on the NHSCA Sports Hour by Allentown Central Catholic (Pennsylvania) girls basketball coach Mike Kopp. Kopp, who is also the school’s athletic director, is the winningest girls basketball coach in Pennsylvania with over 800 victories.

Chicago, IL - November 29, 2010 - Jeff Fisher, founder/editor-in-chief of High School Football America, welcomed two high school football coaches from eastern Pennsylvania onto his debut show as host of the NHSCA Sports Hour on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
Steve Shiffert, who is the winningest coach in Easton (Pennsylvania) High School football history, joined Fisher to talk about the school's great Thanksgiving Day football rivalry with Phillipsburg (New Jersey) High School. Shiffert also addressed his team's incredible stretch of playing three games in eight days.
Also on the show was Pius X (Roseto, Pennsylvania) head coach Phil Stambaugh, who led his team to the district championship game and an 8-4 record. Pius X is one of the smallest teams playing 11-man football and America, and is part of a documentary being filmed by Fisher.

Drape, who in 2009 authored the high school football book Our Boys, called the video vignette on Lowell (Michigan) High School playing in pink uniforms to raise money and awareness for cancer "moving".

Fisher, who founded High School Football America in 2008, was joined by Sports Illustrated’s BJ Schecter in a segment called “High School Football Mania” that examined the flow of corporate money into the sport.

Chicago, IL - High School Football America ("HSFBA") Founder and Editor-in-Chief Jeff Fisher announced today that new Pius X High School football head coach Phil Stambaugh has agreed to give HSFBA an exclusive inside look at the 2010 Royals football team.
Beginning August 16th, High School Football America's cameras will begin capturing footage from Camp Royal, a four-year tradition where the players stay on-campus for the first week of two-a-day practices. The story of the 2010 Royals will be told at High School Football America through a series of videos, podcasts and news stories that will give high school football fans a look at one of the smallest high school football programs in America.
Pius X High School is located in Roseto, Pennsylvania with approximately 260 students in grade 7-12. Roseto itself has only 1,600 residents as of the 2000 United States Census.
"Roseto and Pius X are two of the most unique untold stories in America," said Fisher. "I been all over this country covering high school football, and I believe that that this community's tie to the football program at Pius is almost unmatched. We're not talking one or two generations of Royals, we're talking about three, four and five."
